In a one-day operation issuing warrants of arrest, the Southern Police District apprehended three individuals in Taguig City on Friday, September 13, 2024.

Jason, who had been evading the law for six years, was arrested for vote buying, a violation of Section 261 of the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines, or Republic Act No. 881. He was apprehended at Mahogany Drive, Taguig City, at about 6:10 p.m. on September 13.

In another case, an individual known as Muhaymen allegedly attempted to kill the friend of his fiance due to jealousy, using a caliber .38 gun. He was arrested at Osano Park, 1630 Chavez St., Brgy. Central Bicutan, Taguig City. The suspect was wanted for Frustrated Murder under Article 248 in relation to Article 6 of the Revised Penal Code.

In a third case, a 53-year-old secretary was arrested around 9:00 p.m. in Taguig City after hiding from the law for 2 years and 9 months. She was wanted for four violations of the Bouncing Checks Law (BP 22), with a recommended bail set at PHP 96,000.00.
