The recognition, through the Rafael M. Salas Human Development Award, took place at the Riverview Resort in Calamba City, Laguna on November 14, 2024.
The award acknowledges Taguig City's dedication to the 2024 Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action (PPD-POA), which focuses on strategies for economic and societal development amid an increasing population.
Meanwhile, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) also honored Taguig City at the 2024 GSIS Seal of Protection Awards, "A Tribute to GSIS Partners," held at the GSIS Gymnasium, GSIS Head Office, Pasay City on November 28, 2024.
Taguig City received the Bronze Seal of Protection award, which honors local government units that prioritize protecting their assets from unexpected risks by insuring their properties with GSIS.
Jeanette Clemente, head of the Human Resource Management Office, and Elmer Pagsisihan, head of the General Services Office, accepted the award and plaque of appreciation at the event.
