Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano occupies the sixth spot in the latest "Voice of the People" survey assessing the performance of local government leaders.
Based on the survey conducted by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) from December 27, 2023, to January 5, 2024, with about 10,000 respondents, Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano achieved an approval rating of 84.6%, earning her the sixth position among the top 10 Mayors.
Sharing this sixth spot with Cayetano is Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon.

The "Voice of the People" Annual Report 2023 evaluated not only a mayor's ability to govern but also their timely response to community needs and their relentless efforts to promote their area's development.

"This survey, representative of the 67.75 million registered voters in the country, utilized a random selection process to ensure a diverse and proportionate representation of each city, aligning with official voter population statistics. The survey's findings are characterized by a margin of error of +/-1% and are reliable at a 95% confidence level, reflecting a robust and comprehensive analysis of the national sentiment," according to RPMD.
"Derived from a carefully collated and analyzed array of public opinions, this report offers a transparent, detailed examination of the successes and areas for development in mayoral leadership, underlining the impact these leaders have on improving the quality of life in their communities," it added.
Topping the list are the five leaders of local government in the National Capital Region: Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, with a 91.2% approval rating; Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, at 90.5%; Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco, at 90.3%; Caloocan City Mayor Along Malapitan, at 90.2%; and Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez, at 90%.
