Taguig City University is celebrating its 18th year since its establishment and held the celebration at TLC Park Concert Grounds on December 14, 2024.
The event was attended by students, teachers, university staff, and the leaders of Taguig City.
Taguig City University students who won in the academic, cultural, arts and sports competitions held from December 2 to 14, 2024, were honored.
The students also showcased their talents in various fields - cheer-dancing, singing, and more.
"With the leadership of Mayor Lani Cayetano and our mission to be a Transformative, Lively, and Caring City, you can continue to expect our support, especially in the education sector," according to Taguig-Pateros Congressman Ricardo Cruz, the guest of honor at the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the College of Criminal Justice, Dr. Renel Cruz, stated that what the Taguig City Government is doing for the education of the youth is very significant.
"With the unending support of the TCU administration led by the acting president, Dr. Desiree B. Guiraldo, and the city government of Taguig under the good leadership of Mayor Lani Cayetano, it enables us to inspire our students and employees to participate in the different programs and events. It is also a manifestation that the city government of Taguig is able to produce professionals who are dynamic, competitive, role models, and advocates of Filipino core values."
Taguig City University was established in 2006, providing quality and free education in Taguig City ever since.
