The mobile diagnostics van is capable of performing chest x-rays, ECGs, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests such as complete blood count with platelet count, random blood sugar, blood typing, and urinalysis.
All services at the mobile diagnostics van are free for Taguig City residents.
The city government aims to bring their health assistance to the people, especially those who cannot visit their nearest barangay health center or hospital.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano stated that this is part of their objective to implement their TLC agenda - Transformative, Lively and Caring City. "Under the Caring City, we demonstrate compassion and care, government that reaches out and delivers services at your disposal," said Cayetano.
Five hundred people attended the launch of the Taguig Mobile Diagnostics Van and had free checkups, tooth extractions, and even took home vegetables.
The Taguig Love Caravan is the first of its kind health program in Taguig where medical personnel from the city government visit various barangays to provide free check-ups, medicines, dental services, diagnostic services and healthy food to the people of Taguig.
