The Taguig Love Caravan, offering free consultation, medicine, medical supplies, laboratory services, and vegetables, is set to visit Barangay Cembo tomorrow, February 17, 2024.

Residents of Barangay Cembo are invited to the Cembo Elementary School on Acacia Street, Barangay Cembo, Taguig City, this Saturday from 7:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon, for these free medical and dental health services.

In the wake of the abrupt closure of health centers in the EMBO barangays by Makati, Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano ensured that health assistance would reach the people of EMBO through the Taguig Love Caravan. The Caravan comes equipped with medical staff, healing instruments, laboratory and diagnostic services, and medicine and vegetables for the residents' nutrition.

Tomorrow's schedule is exclusively for the residents of Cembo. The residents of other EMBO barangays will be personally visited by the Taguig Love Caravan in the coming days.

Among the free services of the Taguig Love Caravan are consultation and check-ups; diagnostics and laboratory tests like CBC, urinalysis, random blood sugar, blood typing, chest X-ray, and ECG; pneumonia vaccines for those aged 18 and above; and vaccines for children under five years old such as hepatitis B, Penta, OPV, IPV, and MMR.

Pregnant women can avail themselves of check-ups with the OB Gynecologist accompanying the Taguig Love Caravan for their prenatal needs, ultrasound, visual inspection with acetic acid, and family planning advice.

Dentists are also present to extract decayed teeth or consult on any oral concerns.

The Taguig Love Caravan's pharmacy carries medicine for maintenance of patients in Barangay Cembo, as well as the prescribed medicines by their doctors.

In terms of nutrition, there will be food or cooking demonstrations and distribution of vegetables and cooking ingredients.

Assistance will also be given to those without PhilHealth membership for their use in case of hospitalization.
