Thousands of residents from Barangay South Cembo and Barangay Comembo benefited from health assistance during the Taguig Love Caravan's visit to these two EMBO (Enlisted Men's Barrio) barangays on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

A total of 2,900 residents from the two barangays consulted with doctors, while 421 sought dentists for check-ups and tooth extractions.

Additionally, 1,434 residents of Barangay South Cembo received free medicines during the Taguig Love Caravan at South Cembo Elementary School.

Residents of Barangay Comembo, numbering 1,451, who attended the medical and dental mission of Taguig City at Benigno Aquino High School, also received free maintenance medications and prescriptions from the pharmacy within the caravan.

The caravan brought diagnostic and laboratory services that provided immediate blood tests, urinalysis, Chest X-rays, and ECGs for those who needed them.

There were also free flu quadrivalent vaccinations for senior citizens, pregnant women, persons with comorbidities, and healthcare workers; HPV vaccines for children aged 9 to 14; and routine vaccinations for children under five, including Hepatitis B, Penta, OPV, IPV, and MMR.

Hearing aids, walkers, and wheelchairs were also provided for free to those in need.

Pregnant women underwent prenatal check-ups, visual inspections with acetic acid (VIA), and were educated on family planning.

There was also a cooking demonstration and distribution of vegetables and other cooking ingredients.

Residents of South Cembo and Comembo were also aided in their PhilHealth applications.

Those who missed the Taguig Love Caravan can visit the various health facilities in Taguig, including the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital (TPDH), 31 health centers, 7 primary care facilities, 3 super health centers, a dialysis center, 5 animal bite treatment centers, 3 main laboratories and 29 community-based laboratories.

The Taguig Love Caravan is a mobile health program that travels around the city three times a week.
