During the final flag ceremony of the year, held in front of the Taguig City Hall on December 23, 2024, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano commended PESO for its excellence, following its recognition by the Department of Labor - National Capital Region in the following categories:
* 2023 Search for Best PESO - Finalist, Highly Urbanized City Category
* 2023 Best Performing PESO - Best in Career Guidance & Employment Coaching: Bracket 4
* 2023 Best Performing PESO Special Citation - PESO with Highest Number of SPES Beneficiaries for 3 consecutive years
"We are delighted that our city can deliver security and opportunities to our Taguigeños. It's really true that 'teamwork makes the dream work,' as these awards have been made possible through the unity and efforts of the City Government and our hardworking staff," Cayetano said in her Facebook post.
Cayetano believes that the recognition of Taguig's public service excellence will not end here.
