The five-story new building will also serve as an evacuation center.
It is equipped with tools that can assist in immediate response during a disaster and emergencies.
Staff of the Taguig City government who require additional knowledge in rescuing disaster victims and others will specialize at the Center for Disaster Management, which has state-of-the-art facilities.

On its fifth floor, the Center also has facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton and other indoor sports.
