Free medical services, medicines and supplies; scholarships and school supplies; social services; and infrastructure are just some of the benefits returning to Taguig residents in exchange for their diligent payment of taxes to the city government of Taguig. (Click the video below).



Taguig City government stated that the taxes paid by the residents of Taguig help foster a Transformative, Lively, and Caring (TLC) city, providing numerous benefits throughout the year.

These include high-quality programs and services pioneered by Taguig, such as doctor-on-call, home health, door-to-door delivery of medical aid, free prosthetic legs, wheelchairs, crutches, and hearing aids, and free 3-in-1 baby bags for new mothers.

They also offer free check-ups, laboratory services, dental services, and medicines through the Taguig Love Caravan, in addition to regular health services at super health centers and regular health centers in Taguig, which also have a dialysis center, a molecular laboratory, and a health and leisure center for senior citizens.

There are also programs for students, such as various scholarship programs for more than 80,000 college and junior and senior high school students.

Students receive free school entrance, P.E. uniforms, shoes from daycare to elementary and junior and senior high school, including school supplies, emergency bags, and hygiene kits.

Public schools are equipped with complete computer equipment, and a children's library has been established. Teachers and non-teachers in Taguig City schools receive adequate allowances and have access to excellent teaching facilities.

The city government of Taguig also gives a birthday cash gift to senior citizens and even to persons with disabilities.

Seniors reaching the age of 100 receive P100,000, which is supplemented with an additional P100,000 every year as long as they live.

There are also programs and services for children, youth and women, there are urban farms where planting materials and plant care are provided, there is a lake seeding program, and distribution of fishing nets and fishing boats to city fishermen.

The city also annually distributes Christmas Gifts or "Pamaskong Handog" from Taguig, where each family receives rice, canned goods and other Christmas preparation items.

Taguig City also provides burial assistance.

Under the leadership of Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, the taxes paid by the residents have been used effectively by improving public schools in Taguig, building four super health centers and 31 health centers, erecting multi-purpose buildings that will serve as hubs for providing assistance to the residents, beautifying markets and business areas, as well as improving public parks and children's playgrounds.

Taguig continues to support those who contribute to the peace and order in the city, such as police and firefighters.
