The Taguig city government has also assured that residency and registration requirements will not be an issue for students living in the EMBO barangays for obtaining their educational scholarships. It is enough that they live in the EMBO barangay or study in these schools to qualify for the scholarships.

The Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need (LANI) Scholarship Program was formally launched by the Taguig city government at Pitogo National High School on Tuesday, August 22, specifically for students in the EMBO barangays.

Meanwhile, those reviewing for board and bar exams can receive a one-time aid of P15,000 to P20,000, with an additional P50,000 if they place in the Top 10 in their school. This aid has already produced 3,200 licensed professionals.

Teachers in public and private schools in Taguig, barangay, city, and even national government employees, as well as uniformed personnel based in Taguig and studying for Master's and Doctoral Degrees, can also become Taguig scholars. They can receive P18,000 to P60,000 per year depending on their school category. There is also a P50,000 Thesis and Dissertation Grant, which brings their total potential aid to P110,000.
