Councilor Cielita Cortez of Barangay Comembo expressed gratitude to Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, who personally led the presentation of the new ambulance to their barangay, following the retrieval of their old ambulance by the city government of Makati.
Cortez stated that the new ambulance assures that there would be a vehicle available during emergencies and that the residents of their barangay would receive excellent health services.
"Your provision of an ambulance exemplifies your commitment to our safety and well-being. Your leadership ensures that we can rely on essential services in times of need. Grateful for your proactive approach," said Cortez.
Councilor Vladimir Lucido, head of the Barangay Rizal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management team, also said that the new ambulance from the city government of Taguig is a significant help to their barangay.
"Our barangay comprises almost 100,000 households. The ambulance will truly help a lot of people so when it arrived, it became one of the aides for our barangay residents," according to Lucido.
The city government of Taguig provided one new ambulance each to Barangay Comembo and Rizal on February 11, 2024.
