In her speech, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano encouraged parents to continue nurturing their children's reading abilities even after the program's conclusion.

"I hope that even after the program and when there are no more allowances to receive, you will still continue to teach your children. Since you have already learned the techniques and ways to promote the importance of reading and comprehension, please keep going - it's your contribution to our youth, your contribution to our nation," Mayor Cayetano stated.

Mayor Cayetano also emphasized the importance of reading and knowledge: "The foundation of a person's learning depends on their proficiency in reading and understanding what they read. As the saying goes, 'It takes a village to raise an educated child.' This means everyone should take action."
