Three candidates will be contending for the mayoralty of Taguig City in the upcoming elections on May 12, 2025.

At the conclusion of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) filing at the Convention Center of the New Taguig City Hall in Levi Mariano, Barangay Ususan, Taguig City, three names are on the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Taguig City list vying to become the city's Mayor.

Arnel Cerafica submitted his candidacy for the mayoralty of Taguig on the very first day of COC filing, October 1, 2024, along with his wife Janelle, who is running for Vice Mayor.

On October 7, 2024, incumbent Mayor Lani Cayetano submitted her candidacy, along with her Vice Mayor, Arvin Alit, who is also running again for the same position.

Brigido Licudine from Barangay Western Bicutan subsequently submitted his candidacy for the mayoralty of Taguig City on the same day, October 7, 2024.

The Vice Mayor race in Taguig is also a three-way fight. In addition to Cerafica and Alit, Nelly Tanglao from the Subanen Party also submitted her candidacy for the position on October 7, 2024.
