A woman and two men were arrested by the joint forces of the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit, and Philippine National Police Maritime Group in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibayo Tipas, Taguig City on June 14.

The arrested individuals were identified as Jeffrey Bunyi, 51, Chris Aileen Prangan, 35, and Andrei Dela Cruz, 19. Seized from them were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing a total of 6 grams and valued at PHP 40,800; two plastic zip lock bags containing suspected cocaine weighing 3.66 grams and valued at PHP 19,398; and a PHP 500 bill used as buy-bust money.

The three suspects were charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Bunyi is reportedly one of the known drug pushers in Taguig.
