According to the Southern Police District, they arrested a 63-year-old construction worker known as alias Tarik, and a 22-year-old known as alias Ato. The arrest occurred when an undercover officer successfully purchased five hundred pesos worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) contained in a plastic sachet.
In total, 54 grams of suspected shabu with a street price of P367,200 were confiscated from the two suspects.
The suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002.
