The Taguig City Police confiscated 21.5 grams of shabu, estimated to be worth P145,520, from two suspects in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Central Signal, Taguig City.

An agent from the Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit posed as a buyer of shabu from two men known by the aliases Miyong, aged 26, and Arvin, 34 years old. The operation took place at 1:30 a.m. on September 28, 2024, in Barangay Central Signal.

The two suspects were found in possession of six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets suspected to contain shabu, the buy-bust money consisting of two genuine P100 bills, and five counterfeit P1,000 bills, as well as a black coin purse.

The confiscated drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory testing.

The suspects will be charged with violating Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Meanwhile, the Taguig City Police also arrested the Top 1 Station Level Most Wanted Person for the third quarter of 2024 at 2:35 p.m. on September 27, 2024, in Barangay Pembo, Taguig City.

The individual, known by the alias Daniel, was arrested under a warrant for violating Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 and Section 28 of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. The warrant was issued by Honorable Gina Bibat-Palamos, Presiding Judge of Branch 64 of the Makati Regional Trial Court. No bail was recommended for the suspect.
