Police confiscated over one million pesos worth of illegal drugs from two men in Barangay Rizal, Taguig City on November 9 at 7:30 in the evening.

During the buy-bust operation conducted by operatives from the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit - National Capital Region Police Office, Ardan Ordoñez, 27 years old, a resident of Juan Luna St. Barangay Rizal, and Marwin Longayan, 24 years old, residing in Barangay Santa Ana, Taguig City, were arrested.

The two were found to be in possession of suspected shabu valued at ₱1,026,800.00 when the buy-bust was executed at Block 132, Lot 7 Juan Luna St. Barangay Rizal, Taguig City.

Also seized from the suspects were an unregistered gray Honda PCX motorcycle, one genuine ₱1,000 bill and two bundles of counterfeit ₱1,000 used as boodle money.

Meanwhile, Brig. General Jose Nartatez, Jr., Chief of PNP-NCRPO, commended the continuous efforts of the police in apprehending those who sell illegal drugs.

"Team NCRPO will remain steadfast in our campaign against all forms of criminality and illegal drugs. We will not allow these traders of the deadly substance to ruin the life of our people, especially the young generation," Nartatez said.
