A new transport terminal in Taguig City is anticipated to open in the last part of 2025.

The Arca South Transport Terminal in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City will become the hub for buses, jeepneys, and tricycles. In addition, establishments for food, restrooms, and facilities for persons with disabilities (PWD) are being built. There will also be a breastfeeding room for mothers within the two-hectare land.

According to Ayala Land, they also plan to relocate the AANI Weekend Market to the Arca South Transport Terminal. This move will bring the fresh and organic produce, seafood, chicken, and more closer to the residents in the area and those using the transport terminal.

The new transport terminal is part of Ayala Land's aim to transform the former Food Terminal Incorporated (FTI) into a mixed-use development.

The FTI was a 74-hectare land where fresh agricultural products were stored and sent to different markets in Metro Manila.

Currently, it is being developed into a new business and lifestyle district akin to Bonifacio Global City.

In the meantime, another transport terminal is being constructed in Taguig, the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange (TITX), which is larger than the Arca South Transport Terminal as it covers five hectares.

The TITX is also located in Arca South, but the buses stopping here are the ones travelling to different regions or provinces.

Upon completion, the TITX will be connected to the FTI Station of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR), and the ongoing Metro Manila Subway project, which is also expected to be finished soon.
