Continued heavy rainfall is being forecasted today by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) for Camarines Norte.

According to PAGASA, there is a high possibility of severe flooding and storm surge in the area's oceans.
Typhoon Kristine maintains its strength in the Philippine Sea east of the Bicol Region where earlier at 10:00 in the morning, the storm's center was found east of Virac, Catanduanes.
Its wind strength is at 65 kilometers per hour near the center with gusts at 80 kilometers per hour.

Signal Number 2 has been raised over Catanduanes and Signal Number 1 over:
Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon including Pollilo Islands, Masbate including Ticao Island, Burias Island, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Leyte, Biliran, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte including Siargao - Bucas Grande Group.
Due to the rapid strengthening of Typhoon Kristine, the highest Wind Signal could reach 3, according to PAGASA.
Today, strong winds are already blowing over: Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Palawan, Romblon, Aklan, Antique, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Southern Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Sarangani, Davao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.
Tomorrow (23 October): MIMAROPA, Visayas, and Mindanao.
On Thursday (24 October): MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Northern Mindanao, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Davao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.
PAGASA warns of a storm surge in the next 48 hours in the following areas: Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Albay, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan. Those living along the coastal areas are being advised to prepare for possible evacuation.
Typhoon Kristine is estimated to make landfall in Isabela or Northern Aurora tomorrow, October 23, in the evening or early Thursday morning, October 24. It will cross the mountain ranges of Northern Luzon and will move out to the waters west of the Ilocos Region on Thursday afternoon or evening.
Typhoon Kristine is possibly going to be an extremely powerful storm before it even makes landfall.
