Typhoon Kristine has yet to make landfall, but it has already caused extensive flooding in the Bicol Region.

Continuous rainfall has caused rivers to overflow, resulting in flooding and landslides in the provinces of Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon, where Signal Number 2 has been raised.
According to the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas - Bicol, heavy rain has been falling in the Bicol Region since October 21, 2024. Many plantations and homes made of wood and nipa have been damaged, and numerous roads have become impassable for all types of vehicles.

In the latest bulletin issued by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 11:00 last night, the center of Typhoon Kristine was located 345 kilometers east-northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte, or 475 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon.
The typhoon carries winds of up to 75 kilometers per hour near the center, with gusts reaching 90 kilometers per hour.
The storm is moving northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. Its strong winds extend up to 760 kilometers from the center.
