PAGASA is closely monitoring four storms, including Typhoon Nika (international name: Toraji), which is currently wreaking havoc in Dilasag, Aurora.

Typhoon Nika made landfall in Dilasag, Aurora at 8:10 am this morning, November 11, 2024.

Typhoon Nika brought with it winds of up to 130 kilometers near its center, with gusts reaching up to 180 kilometers per hour.

Also under PAGASA's scrutiny is a tropical depression located 1,515 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas, currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). This system is characterized by sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center, with gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
Another storm being watched is the tropical storm with the international name Man-yi, located 3,280 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon and still outside the PAR. This storm has sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near its center, with gusts up to 105 kilometers per hour.
Typhoon Marce, internationally known as Yinxing and still classified as a tropical storm, is now outside the PAR and is located 935 kilometers west of Northern Luzon. It has sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and is moving away from the Philippines.
