Typhoon Ofel is set to hit the eastern coastline of Cagayan or Isabela this afternoon, November 14.
It will re-emerge near the Babuyan and Balintang Channels on Friday, November 16, 2024, before making a second landfall near the Babuyan Islands. It is forecasted to veer northeast on Saturday, November 16, heading towards the ocean east of Taiwan.

Signal number 3 has been raised in the northeastern part of Cagayan, particularly in Santa Ana, due to Typhoon Ofel (international name: Usagi), which is currently categorized as a typhoon.
The typhoon continues to intensify as it moves in a west-northwesterly direction towards the ocean east of Aurora Province.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), as of 10:00 pm last night, November 13, 2024, the eye of Typhoon Ofel was located 355 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora or 295 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.

The typhoon carries winds of 150 kilometers near the center with gusts of up to 185 kilometers per hour. It is moving west-northwest at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour. Its winds extend up to 320 kilometers from the center.

• Remaining parts of Cagayan including Babuyan Islands

• Apayao
• Northern part of Ilocos Norte (Carasi, Vintar, Burgos, Adams, Pagudpud, Bangui, Dumalneg).
