According to PAGASA, Typhoon Kristine (international name: Trami) has already left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but there's a possibility it may return.

Typhoon Leon (international name: Kong Rey), meanwhile, is threatening to enter the PAR.

In PAGASA's latest forecast, from October 25 to 31, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Kristine is in the West Philippine Sea and is moving towards Vietnam and Hainan Island.

Another Tropical Cyclone, Leon, formed east of Visayas (still outside the PAR) and is moving northwest, expected to enter the northern part of the PAR.

From November 1 to 7, 2024, PAGASA predicts Typhoon Kristine will remain in the South China Sea and could possibly return to the western part of the PAR.

Typhoon Leon is expected to continue moving northwest towards the top of Northern Luzon before proceeding towards Taiwan and Southern Japan.

Because of this, PAGASA stated that the threat from these two typhoons will persist in the next two weeks.
