Nearly P5 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated by the Taguig City Police from a woman in South Signal Village, at around 11:40 PM on January 22, 2025.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of South Signal Village, arresting a 32-year-old woman known only under the alias Sherhana, who had been under police surveillance for some time.
Confiscated during the operation were three plastic bags containing a total of 708.5 grams of suspected shabu, estimated to be worth P4.81 million.

They also recovered actual P1,000 bills that were used as marked money, as well as 49 counterfeit P1,000 bills used as boodle money.
The suspect is now detained at the Taguig Police jail and will be charged with violations of Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession of illegal drugs) of the Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The Chief of the Southern Police District (SPD), Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, commended the personnel of the Taguig City Police for their successful operation.
"This operation underscores our dedication to safeguarding our communities from the devastating impact of illegal drugs," according to the director of the SPD.
