Additionally, the woman, identified only under the alias Jessica, is alleged to have aided her live-in partner, a murder suspect, in evading arrest.
The police's true targets were alias Marvin and his accomplice, alias Margarito, both of whom have warrants of arrest for murder issued by Judge Mariam Bien of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 153.
According to the Taguig City Police, during their operation, Jessica obstructed their pursuit, allowing Marvin to escape.
Recovered from the couple's residence in Barangay Hagonoy, Taguig City were a Bushmaster M16 5.56mm rifle (an assault rifle), a .45-caliber 1911 A1-FS pistol, ten pieces of 5.56mm ammunition, a magazine for 5.56mm ammunition, a .45-caliber magazine, three pieces of .45-caliber ammunition, and a rifle bag.
Jessica failed to present any legal documentation for the weapons found in her home, leading to her arrest by authorities.
Jessica will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition) and obstruction of justice at the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
